Jacquetta Smith - Executive Director

As Executive Director of The Prayer Institute, Jacquetta Smith uses her many years of management experience to create a successful environment.  Her high focus is on project management, team development, staff training for professional and personal development, and efficiency assessment for corporations and ministries.  Jacquetta has served as Executive Director for several mega ministries in Houston, Texas. Jacquetta has been the manager over special projects divisions. She was the key personnel in the development of a Bible College. She was one of the primary leaders in the establishment and development of a Christian  Elementary School and a drug rehabilitation facility for both men and women.

Jacquetta is also the owner of Dominion Consulting a firm that consults ministries and small businesses.  The consulting group establishes skillful ways to enhance organizational procedures, and develops systems for successful task completion. 

Jacquetta is the author of My Manners Matter, released October, 2008 and is in its second printing and Loyalty…The Pathway to Promotion, released October, 2003 and is in its third printing.

She holds a Masters degree in Organizational Management, she is a Licensed Minister, and is the wife of Vernon Smith, a successful real estate investor, commercial and residential builder, and financial advisor. She is the mother of three sons, three nieces and the grandmother of seven wonderful grandchildren.

Pastor Kimberly Orr - Curriculum Writer/Teacher

Pastor Kimberly Orr is an Associate Pastor of Windsor Village United Methodist Church.  She is originally from Livingston, Texas. Her undergraduate degree is in music education from Sam Houston State University and her first Master's degree is from Rice University in horal conducting. During the mid 1990s, Pastor Orr was Associate International Tour Manager for the Houston Grand Opera, and toured with the company of Porgy & Bess. She ultimately answered her call to full-time pastoral ministry in 1998 and received her Master’s of Divinity in 2005 from Asbury Seminary.

She was ordained a full elder in the United Methodist Church in May 2009. Kimberly has a passion for deep biblical study and gleaning truths from our Hebraic faith roots. In the spring of 2010, she received her Certificate of Jewish Learning from Hebrew University via the Florence Melton School for Adult Learning. Pastor Orr believes a healthy body, mind and spirit are essential to living fully before the Lord. Pastor Orr is blessed with two beautiful and fabulous teenage children: Josiah and Miriam.

Chantel Johnson - Executive Coordinator of Administration & Services

Chantel Johnson has been anointed by God with a gift of administration. She was the executive assistant for the pastoral ministries at Lakewood Church where she served the Executive Director of Ministries. She also assisted in developing the volunteer program for the Joel Osteen Ministries and traveled for four years working with the volunteers for the “Night of Hope” events. Chantel developed and managed the building tour program for Lakewood Church. She also developed and managed the ministry calendar planning process for all ministries. In addition to her job responsibilities, Chantel established and led the intercessory prayer team and the Singles 35 and older Sunday school class. For more than ten years, Chantel has worked with a number of non-profits as an administrator, bookkeeper, event coordinator and financial contributions coordinator. 

Chantel’s passion is to see people live a victorious and balanced life, walking in the freedom God has made available to them and that the unadulterated Word of God ministered in its entirety would bring healing, deliverance and restoration. She is the proud mother of one amazing son.
